Read articleWet Concrete Mix weighs 2.3 kg per litre. Convert litres to kilograms (and back) using its exact density.
1 liter of Wet Concrete Mix weighs approximately 2.3 kilograms (or 2300 grams) at standard room temperature. Because mass equals volume multiplied by density (\(m = V \times \rho\)), multiplying volume in liters by 2.3 gives the exact mass in kg.
Wet Concrete Mix has a density of 2.3 kg/L, which makes it 2.3 times the weight of water per litre. Fresh concrete combines cement, sand and stone aggregate and weighs about 2.3 kg/L — 2,300 kg per cubic metre, and 2.3 times the weight of water.

Lightweight mixes can drop to 1.8, and heavy-aggregate shielding concrete exceeds 3.0. Reinforced concrete is typically taken at 2.4–2.5 kg/L.
Type the volume in litres. The calculator is preset to Wet Concrete Mix at 2.3 kg/L.
Flip to kilograms → litres to find how much space a given weight of wet concrete mix takes up.
See kilograms, pounds, millilitres and gallons. Each litre adds 2.3 kg.
Fresh concrete combines cement, sand and stone aggregate and weighs about 2.3 kg/L — 2,300 kg per cubic metre, and 2.3 times the weight of water. To convert, multiply the volume in litres by 2.3. To go the other way, divide the weight in kilograms by 2.3.
kg = Litres × 2.3
L = kg ÷ 2.3
1 L → 2.3 kg
10 L → 23 kg
100 L → 230 kgConvert 5 litres of wet concrete mix to kilograms: 5 × 2.3 = 11.5 kg, or 25.35 lb. Reversed: 11.5 kg ÷ 2.3 = 5 L.
| Scenario | Calculation | Result |
|---|---|---|
| 1 L of wet concrete mix | 1 × 2.3 kg/L | 2.3 kg |
| 5 L of wet concrete mix | 5 × 2.3 kg/L | 11.5 kg |
| 20 L of wet concrete mix | 20 × 2.3 kg/L | 46 kg |
| 100 L of wet concrete mix | 100 × 2.3 kg/L | 230 kg |
| 10 kg of wet concrete mix (reverse) | 10 ÷ 2.3 kg/L | 4.35 L |
| Litres | Kilograms | Pounds | US gallons |

1 liter of wet concrete weighs 2.3 kilograms (2,300 grams).
1 litre of wet concrete mix weighs 2.3 kg (2300 grams, or 5.07 lb), using a density of 2.3 kg/L.
1 kg of wet concrete mix is 0.435 litres. Divide the weight by the density: 1 ÷ 2.3 = 0.435.
Multiply the volume by 2.3. For example, 10 litres of wet concrete mix is 23 kg and 50 litres is 115 kg.
